A five-minute mission moment for one Sunday service — a short video from real field footage, a one-page bulletin insert, and a QR card — built for a pastor to use exactly as it arrives.
The kit is given, never sold, and it asks for nothing. It is offered as a relationship: your congregation sees the river, the scale, and the people of La Ensenada and Triunfo de la Cruz, and what your church does with that is entirely your church's own decision.
Real footage of the work in Honduras: the river, the cleanup line, the weigh station, the people. No actors, no stock images, nothing staged. It ends with the invitation your congregation can act on from their seats — the $1 Army, one dollar a month.
A single page that fits a standard bulletin: what the mission is, the numbers we publish and stand behind, and the same invitation. Print as many as you need; the file is yours to run.
One card for the lobby, the fellowship hall, or the pew rack. The code takes a phone straight to the $1 Army join form — the same form, the same dollar, the same published record.
Hands For Honduras, Inc. is openly Christian, and says so first. The kit carries that faith plainly, in the organization's own voice — it is a mission moment, offered to churches, for a Sunday. A church that uses it lends us five minutes of its morning. That is the whole transaction, and we count it a gift.
That is all. No speaker to schedule, no table to staff, no collection to organize — unless your church, on its own initiative, decides otherwise.
No offering is asked — not in the kit, not in its cover note, not afterward. If a congregation chooses, entirely on its own, to give or to take an offering, that is the church's act and the church's choice. It is never a condition of receiving the kit, never suggested as one, and never followed up as a debt.
No response is owed. A church may use the kit once, use it every year, or set it aside — each answer is honored the same way. Using the kit begins a relationship; it signs the church up for nothing.
What we will do: send the three pieces, answer any question your pastor asks, and show your church — in the published counters and the open book — exactly what the work does. What we will never do is pressure a congregation. The ask in the kit is the ask everywhere in this house: look at the work, check the record, and decide freely.
Tell us your church's name and where to send the files. The kit travels by email; printed inserts and QR cards can follow by mail for churches that ask.
The membership the kit invites your congregation into is open right now — one dollar a month, counted in the open, published by designation.
THE DOLLAR IS A DOLLAR. Joining the $1 Army costs exactly $1 a month. At checkout, our platform Zeffy offers an optional tip for themselves — 17 cents suggested on a dollar. Set it to zero if you wish: we receive your full dollar either way, and Zeffy takes nothing from it.
Churches can also give together — the $10 Church Challenge, partner churches, and group rallies are described on the churches section of the home page.
